Metropolis has several new projects in progress and others coming shortly. Check this section in the future as we present other photos and artwork of other projects.

Project 1
Jim Orr's fantastic drawings of the Paul Walter Metropolis 1935 Auburn Speedster project are shown here in some of the early elements. We have refined this project extensively and may post updated drawings or build photos as we have the opportunity. The Paul Walter Metropolis 1935 Auburn Speedster is a highly modified body design on fabricated frame rails with modern drivetrain and extensive modifications. Retaining the characteristic Auburn body shape but redesigned in a highboy style without fenders, this Metropolis project promises a new direction for a rare and unusual icon.

Bonneville Transporter Project
Based on a 1964 Maynard pumper firetruck, our Bonneville transporter designs were penned by Jim Orr to help us select a build style to echo the racing transporters of 1960’s Formula 1.

Project 2
Jeff Eischen's new Model A truck is shown in a set of CAD views. Built with a steel body, fabricated chassis, split wishbones and a quickchange, this low profile roadster will ride waist-high when completed.
